Research both collaborative and independently directed on polymer synthesis, processing, and of polymers for membrane water systems and ion conducting polymers. This will include both synthesis and polymer physics expertise. There will also be job duties including collaboration with group members on specific laboratory and analytical techniques. In addition, will assist in mentorship of group members on specific laboratory and analytical techniques.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Applicants must have completed all requirements for a PhD (or equivalent), except the dissertation, at the time of application.

Additional qualifications (required at time of start)
A PhD is required by time of appointment.

Preferred qualifications
Must be proficient in anionic and living free radical polymerization routes, polymer functionalization, electrochemical impedence.
